জারঘুন শের জেলা
জারঘুন শের জেলা (পশতু: زرغون ښار ولسوالۍ, ফার্সি: ولسوالی زرغونشهر), এছাড়াও উচ্চারণ করা হয়ে থাকে জারঘুন শাহির, এবং এছাড়াও কাতাওয়াজ জেলা অথবা খায়ের কোট জেলা নামেও পরিচিত, আফগানিস্তানের পাক্তিকা প্রদেশের একটি অন্যতম জেলা। জেলাটির কেন্দ্রীয় শহরের নাম হচ্ছে জারঘুন শের।

১৯৯৮ সালের আদমশুমারীর আনুমানিক হিসাব অনুযায়ী জেলাটির জনসংখ্যা প্রায় ৭৫,০০০ জন এর মতI[1] যাইহোক ২০০৪ সালের জুন তারিখ, পর্যন্ত তালেবান সরকার কর্তৃক বৃহত্তর জারঘুন শাহর জেলা থেকে তিনটি নতুন জেলায় বিভক্ত করে দেন। যার ফলে নতুন জেলাগুলির নামকরণ করা হয়েছিল জনিখেল জেলা, ইয়াহিয়াখেল জেলা এবং ইউসুফখেল জেলা।[2][3] ২০০৪ সালে হ্রাসকৃত জেলাটির জনসংখ্যা দাড়ায় ৩৮,০২৪ জন এর মত।[2]
