നാട്ടുചതുപ്പൻ
നിലത്തൻ കുടുംബത്തിൽ ഉള്ള ഒരിനം സൂചിത്തുമ്പിയാണ് നാട്ടുചതുപ്പൻ - Coromandel Marsh Dart - (ശാസ്ത്രീയനാമം: Ceriagrion coromandelianum).[2][1] ഇന്ത്യ, നേപ്പാൾ, പാകിസ്താൻ, ശ്രീലങ്ക, ചൈന, മ്യാന്മാർ, വിയറ്റ്നാം എന്നീ രാജ്യങ്ങളിൽ ഇവയെ കണ്ടെത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.[1]

കനൽവാലൻ ചതുപ്പനെപ്പോലെ വളരെ സാധാരണയായി നാട്ടുചതുപ്പനും കാണപ്പെടുന്നു. പച്ച നിറത്തിലുള്ള കണ്ണുകളും ഉരസ്സുമാണിവയ്ക്കുള്ളത്. പച്ച നിറത്തിലുള്ള ശരീരമുള്ള ആൺ, പെൺതുമ്പികളിൽ പെൺതുമ്പികൾക്ക് ശോഭ കുറവാണ്. ആൺതുമ്പികൾക്ക് നല്ല മഞ്ഞനിറത്തിലുള്ള വാലും കാണപ്പെടുന്നു.[3][4][5][6]
