ആശ്രാമം

കൊല്ലം നഗരത്തിലെ പ്രധാനപ്പെട്ട ഒരു സ്ഥലമാണ് ആശ്രാമം. കൊല്ലം മുൻസിപ്പൽ കോർപറേഷനിലെ ഒരു വാർഡ് കൂടിയായ ഇത് ചിന്നക്കടയിൽ നിന്നും ഒരു കിലോമീറ്ററോളം ദൂരെയാണ്. കേരളത്തിലെ ആദ്യത്തെ വിമാനത്താവളം നിലവിൽ വന്നത് ആശ്രാമത്തായിരുന്നു . അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര ഹോക്കി സ്റ്റേഡിയം, മൈതാനം അഡ്വഞ്ചർ പാർക്ക്, ബ്രിട്ടീഷ് റെസിഡൻസി എന്നിവ ഇവിടെ സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്നു. നിലവിൽ ഒരു ഹെലിപോർട്ട് ആശ്രാമത്തുണ്ട്. അഷ്ടമുടിക്കായലിന്റെ സമീപത്തായി ധാരാളം കണ്ടൽവനങ്ങളും ഇവിടെയുണ്ട്.
