Anterior vagal trunk
The anterior vagal trunk is a branch of the vagus nerve which contributes to the esophageal plexus. It consists primarily of fibers from the left vagus, but also contains a few fibers from the right vagus nerve.

Branches
- Hepatic branch which supply the liver.[1]
- Celiac branch which are small branches which provide parasympathetic innervation to the celiac plexus.
- Anterior gastric branches which supply the stomach.[1]
