CDC works with partners to reach out to communities and share accurate and up-to-date information addressing the specific concerns of different community groups. Webinar on December 14, 2016

Zika: How can we protect Latino communities in the United States?

On December 14, 2016 CDC and the Health Initiative of the Americas, at the University of California Berkeley, co-hosted an hour-long webinar entitled “Zika: How can we protect Latino communities in the United States?”. The webinar can be used for Latino-serving community based organizations and for low-literacy audiences. It covers basic information on the outbreak, transmission, diagnosis, and effects of the disease. It also covers preventive measures and where to go for Zika resources in Spanish.

 

Health Ministers

The HHS Partnership Center and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention collaborated to create the Health Minister’s Guide on Zika and the Zika Action Guide for Health Ministers. These guides provide information and actionable steps for communities working to fight Zika.
