Xin Tong, MPH
Senior Statistician, Epidemiology and Surveillance Branch, Division for Heart Disease and Stroke Prevention, National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion
Xin Tong received a Master of Public Heath degree in Biostatistics from University of South Florida. Her current research interests are cardiovascular disease, with an emphasis on stroke and hypertension. She has presented nationally and internationally, authored and co-authored over 60 peer-reviewed publications. Prior to CDC, Ms. Tong was a senior biostatistician working with clinicians and researchers on finding cures for children with cancer or other catastrophic diseases at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
