With over 10-years of senior level experience working on public health preparedness and response at CDC, Dr. Dan Sosin has been an integral part of the evolution of the nation’s public health preparedness and response capabilities. Through his work developing surveillance systems that identify public health threats before they occur and his experience leading CDC’s emergency response to various pandemics and public health emergencies, Dr. Sosin is well aware of the importance of having strong emergency preparedness and response capabilities in place to guide action before, during, and after a public health emergency.“In the realm of emergency preparedness, there are so many ways to make a difference,” says Dr. Sosin. The challenge is know where to dedicate your time and energy to making significant contributions that will have an impact on our ability to respond to different public health emergencies.
