Through his work developing surveillance systems that identify public health threats before they occur and his experience leading CDC’s emergency response to various pandemics and public health emergencies, Dr. Sosin is well aware of the importance of having strong emergency preparedness and response capabilities in place to guide action before, during, and after a public health emergency.“In the realm of emergency preparedness, there are so many ways to make a difference,” says Dr. Sosin.
