Eric E. Mast, MD, MPH is Deputy Director for Science and Program for the Global Immunization Division (GID) in the Center for Global Health at CDC. In this position he provides scientific leadership and management for implementation of CDC’s Strategic Framework for Global Immunization, working with the four GID Branches (Polio Eradication, Accelerated Disease Control and VPD Surveillance, Immunization Systems, and Strategic Information and Workforce Development), and with other CDC Divisions with subject matter and disease-specific areas of expertise related to VPDs.
