گعز (Ge'ez) (تلفظ: /ˈɡiːɛz/;[6][7] ግዕዝ، Gəʿəz IPA: [ɡɨʕɨz:a] ( سنیے)) ایک قدیم جنوبی سامی زبان ہے۔ زبان کی ابتدا قرن افریقا میں ارتریا کے جنوبی علاقوں اور ایتھوپیا کے شمالی علاقے میں ہوئی۔ یہ مملکت اکسوم کی دفتری زبان بنی۔
