জরিনা খয়ের[1](বৈজ্ঞানিক নাম: Elymnias Vasudeva(Moore)) এর প্রজাতির মাঝারী আকারের প্রজাপতি। এরা নিমফ্যালিডি পরিবার এবং স্যাটায়রিনি উপগোত্রের সদস্য। বন্যপ্রাণ সংরক্ষণ আইন অনুসারে এই প্রজাতি তফ্‌সিল ২ এর তালিকার অন্তর্ভুক্ত।[1][2]

আকার

জরিনা খয়ের এর প্রসারিত অবস্থায় ডানার আকার ৮০-৯০মিলিমিটার দৈর্ঘ্যের হয়।[1]

আচরণ

এরা সাধারনত খুব মন্থর গতিতে ওড়ে। তবে বিরক্ত হলে এরা দ্রুত উড়তেও পাড়ে। জলের কাছে এবং বালুকাময় নদীর পাড়ে এদের দেখা যায়।
