In addition to Ministries of Health and host country governments, CDC partners with the International Association of National Public Health Institutes (IANPHI) on NPHI development and strengthening activities. With more than 100 member organizations from nearly 100 countries, IANPHI works to strengthen NPHIs using a peer-to-peer model and an evidence-based international framework for NPHI development.

CDC is also partnering with the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS (PEPFAR) in countries where an NPHI can serve as a sustainable legacy of U.S. Government investment.
