| Public Health Law | CDC/ATSDR Branch of OGC Internship and Externship Opportunities Interns and externs work with program attorneys on projects of mutual interest and are given opportunities to learn about varied areas of law. Paid internships are subject to the availability of funds. One paid internship position and three externship positions for academic credit are available. |

| Pharmacy | CDC Pharmacy Student Experiential Program Students learn about the roles pharmacists have within CDC, multidisciplinary processes for addressing a wide variety of public health issues, such as disease prevention and control, and ways to improve health. |

| Infectious Diseases |
James A Ferguson Emerging Infectious Diseases Fellowship Opportunities for students interested in participating in infectious diseases and health disparities research. Ferguson Fellows are encouraged to submit their research to national meetings and for publication. |
Graduate students in medical, dental, veterinary, pharmacy, and public health master’s-level graduate programs (target students of underrepresented populations) | 9 Weeks summer, paid | November to January |

Satcher Health Leadership Institute Health Policy Fellowship Program Physicians and postdoctoral professionals gain the specific knowledge, skills, and experiences to prepare them for leadership roles promoting and implementing policies and practices to reduce disparities and advance health equity. |
Prior to the start of the fellowship program, applicants must have received a doctoral degree or medical degree with completed residency training. | 10 months, paid | November to January |
