Frequency of use for cigarettes, electronic cigarettes, cigars, and smokeless tobacco among high school students who are current users of each product, 2014
  • Among high school students who were current users of cigarettes, the proportion using cigarettes on 1 or 2 days was 37.0%; the proportion using cigarettes ≥20 of the past 30 days was 31.6% in 2014.
  • Among high school students who were current users of electronic cigarettes, the proportion using electronic cigarettes on 1 or 2 days was 45.4%; the proportion using electronic cigarettes ≥20 of the past 30 days was 15.5% in 2014.
  • Among high school students who were current users of cigars, the proportion using cigars on 1 or 2 days was 52.0%; the proportion using cigars ≥20 of the past 30 days was 13.1% in 2014.
  • Among high school students who were current users of smokeless tobacco, the proportion using smokeless tobacco on 1 or 2 days was 26.6%; the proportion using smokeless tobacco ≥20 of the past 30 days was 42.0% in 2014.

  • Among middle school students who were current users of electronic cigarettes, the proportion using electronic cigarettes on 1 or 2 days was 54.5%; the proportion using electronic cigarettes ≥20 of the past 30 days was 11.8% in 2014.
  • Among middle school students who were current users of cigars, the proportion using cigars on 1 or 2 days was 44.3%; the proportion using cigars ≥20 of the past 30 days was 13.2% in 2014.
  • Among middle school students who were current users of smokeless tobacco, the proportion using smokeless tobacco on 1 or 2 days was 38.4%; the proportion using smokeless tobacco ≥20 of the past 30 days was 29.2% in 2014.
