MMWR Errata

Due to a correction in data analysis and an update to the data, the following corrections have been made to the MMWR article State Medicaid Coverage for Tobacco Cessation Treatments and Barriers to Coverage—United States, 2008–2014, 2014;63(12):264–9.

On p. 264, line 23, and again on p. 265, line 19, the correct figure for the number of states with annual limits is 38, not 37.

On p. 264, line 27, and again on page 268, line 6 in the box under “What is added by this report?” the correct figure for the number of states that removed barriers to accessing treatments is 25, not 26.

On p. 265, lines 2–3, the correct figure for the number of states that added new barriers without removing existing ones is 13, not 12, and the correct figure for the number of states that both removed and added barriers is 16, not 17.

In Table 2 on p. 267:

• The value for limits on duration for New York for 2014 should be “Yes,” not “Varies by plan,” and the value for annual limit on quit attempts for New York for 2014 should be “Yes,” not “No.”
• The column total for “Yes” for limits on duration for 2014 should be 25, not 24; the column total for “Varies by plan” for limits on duration for 2014 should be 15, not 16.
• The column total for “Yes” for annual limit on quit attempts for 2014 should be 27, not 26; the column total for “No” for annual limit on quit attempts for 2014 should be 13, not 14.
