Choosing Healthy Foods
Holidays, festivals, and celebrations are a time for gathering with family and friends for special meals. If you have diabetes, eating healthy at these times and at buffets at potlucks and restaurants can be especially hard.
This tip sheet series provides helpful hints for making healthy choices, while still enjoying traditional foods and special favorites. The tip sheets are offered as both a general version that anyone can use, as well as customized adaptations for African Americans and several Asian cultures.
