Confirmed Cyclosporiasis Cases, United States, Since June 1, 2013*
* N=630. Data are current as of 5pm EDT, 9/20/13. Data are preliminary and subject to change. Cases reported to CDC as of 5pm on 9/20/13 for which onset of illness dates were available. A case is defined as laboratory-confirmed Cyclospora infection in a person with onset of illness since 6/1/13 and no known history of travel outside of the United States or Canada in the 14 days prior to onset of illness. Illnesses that occurred after 8/14/13 might not yet be reported due to the time it takes between when a person becomes ill and when the illness is reported. It is not yet known whether all reported cases are part of the same outbreak.
