ERGONOMIC INTERVENTIONS IN SHIPYARDS
Hazard: Haphazard storage or placement of electrical cable or hoses can result in incidental damage to the equipment or tripping hazards to the workers.
Solution: Orderly storage of cables or hoses ensures availability of the part and eliminates a tripping hazard. By storing material on pallets, items can be moved easily by forklift, minimizing manual materials handling (see photo).
