ERGONOMIC INTERVENTIONS IN SHIPYARDS
Hazard: Grinding material overhead puts workers in poor posture for neck, shoulders and arms possibly resulting in musculoskeletal disorders (see photos).
Solution: Plan the work to occur at or below waist level when feasible.
