Mining Feature: NIOSH Refuge Alternative Partnership Meeting

NIOSH Mining’s Pittsburgh location will host the second Refuge Alternatives Partnership Meeting at the Bruceton Research Center on October 19 from 7:15 a.m. to 4 p.m. EST. An RSVP is required in advance.

Agenda topics include updates on contamination ingress and purging research, door research, heat and humidity research, and communications research, as well as many others. There will be times designated for open discussion and questions with the researchers.

Those wishing to attend may come to the Bruceton Research Center, 626 Cochrans Mill Rd., Bldg. 140, Pittsburgh, PA 15236. Please plan to bring government-issued ID to show to gate security, who will match information with the approved guest list.
