Since 2005, 118 communities have been selected to participate in YMCA of the USA's Pioneering Healthier Communities (PHC), which is funded by CDC's Healthy Communities Program. Additional communities will be selected during the next 2 years. The list below of the 118 current PHC communities shows the month/year that participation began in parentheses. The local YMCA affiliate in each community leads its PHC team.
