Heart Disease Death Rates, Whites Ages 65+

Heart Disease Death Rates for 2012 through 2014 for Whites Aged 65 Years and Older by County. The map shows that concentrations of counties with the highest heart disease death rates - meaning the top quintile - are located primarily in Mississippi, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Alabama.  Pockets of high-rate counties also were found in Georgia, Kentucky, Tennessee, Missouri, Michigan, Nevada, Texas, and California.
