Despite advances in HIV testing and treatment, HIV and AIDS still pose a major threat to African-American men who have sex with other men, inject drugs with dirty needles, or neglect to get tested. In the US, African Americans at risk need to know if they are HIV-positive to benefit from life-saving therapies and avoid infecting others.

Let’s Stop HIV Together: Shana’s Story (3:19)
In this digital story, Shana shares the story of her diagnosis when she was only 22 years old, in college and dealing with the end of a difficult relationship. She also shares her fears after realizing that she had acquired the virus during her pregnancy and after being told she would only have five years to live. Shana and husband Bear discuss how love, treatment and knowledge helped them fight HIV together. They also share their reason for participating in this campaign: to raise awareness of this important issue among the Native American community.
Let’s Stop HIV Together : Tommy’s Story (3:19)
In this video, Tommy shares his story about finding out he was HIV positive at age 25. He candidly shares the many issues he had to confront including getting treatment, disclosing to his family and finding a support system. Together with friend, Pamela, they discuss issues important to the Native American community, including the need for increasing conversations to raise awareness and reduce stigma as well as promoting HIV testing.
Ludacris Talks About HIV (:52)
Ludacris, Grammy award winner singer and actor warns everyone about the dangers of keeping silent concerning HIV/AIDS. He urges everyone and especially the young African American community to talk about HIV/AIDS and its prevention.
