Background

  • Due to retinal capillary rupture, can be due to acute or chronic processes

Clinical Features

Roth spots due to retinal vein occlusion
  • Roth Spots: retinal hemorrhages with white center, seen on fundoscopy
  • May be asymptomatic, or cause visual loss
