Version 10.0.9 Changes

Enhancements

  1. Inclusion and Exclusion of MOGEs from the AFIX Annual Report Calculations Users will now have the option to choose “MOGEs” when running the AFIX Annual Report. If “MOGE” is included in the assessment setup, a “Yes/No” field is displayed on the data entry screen. If “Yes” is chosen, then a date field is displayed, which can either contain a date or remain blank. If the date field is blank, the patient is excluded from the patient cohort for the calculations. If the date field is populated, the date is compared to the compliance date/age. If the MOGE date is prior to the compliance date/age, the patient is excluded. If the MOGE date is after the compliance date/age, the patient is not excluded.
  2. Add Another MCV4 dose There is a new booster dose required for MCV4 (Meningococcal). The new MCV4 algorithm includes a required booster shot at the age of 16. The algorithm was changed so that 1 one dose is complete and upto-date through the age of 16. After that, 2 doses are required. The recommended age for the required MCV4 booster shot is 16 years. The minimum age for the second dose is 11 years + 8 weeks.
  3. Importing Td and Pertussis CoCASA now includes the option to record 1 Tdap. In the previous version, Tetanus/Diphtheria and Pertussis given on the same day could only be recorded as 2 separate vaccinations.
  4. 2 Hep A, 1 Flu, 3 Polio Added to Results and Reports Vaccination for childhood 2 Hep A, adolescent 1 Flu and adolescent 3 Polio was added to AFIX calculation results. This calculation option was specifically added to the results screen, the AFIX Annual Report, the Site Visit Summary report, the Site Visit for Provider report, and the CoCASA import/export.
  5. Assessment Results Calculation for Missed Opportunities Previously, Assessment result calculations for missed opportunities were set to “Any previous visits”, although, the default setting on all other reports is set to “On LAST immunization visits”. This was modified so that “all reports” criteria for missed opportunities now match the Assessment results tab.
  6. HPV Report Previously, the default setting on this report was set to “female only”. The report was modified to include both genders.
  7. VFC Evaluation tab This tab has been removed from the new version of CoCASA. Users can no longer enter VFC data; however, they can run any historic VFC reports in the new version 10.0.9. 2

Bug Fixes

  1. Import Mapping Report in the Library Previously on the library page, users were unable to find the link to the report that details all of the CVX, CPT and text values that map to antigens in CoCASA import. This issue was fixed and the report can now be accessed via the library page link.
  2. Data Entry of Diagnostic Screening and Testing Fields Previously, if a user chose any diagnostic “Screening and Testing” assessment factors, they were unable to enter data on the data entry tab. This issue has been fixed.
  3. Recalling Saved Criteria on the HPV Report Previously, users could select “other antigens” aside from HPV, even if the user selected previously saved criteria when running the HPV report. The bug has been resolved and the HPV report now offers the option to select “HPV” and “HPV only”.
  4. Patients Marked for Deletion and Screen Total Previously, the assessment date was being used in conjunction with the patient’s date of birth to determine if a patient was a child or an adolescent for the purpose of assigning that patient to the childhood or adolescent cohort of the coverage calculations. This has been changed so that the “as of date” of the age range selection is now used to determine the cohort.
  5. 3 RV Calculation on Assessment Results Tab and 4 DTaP Completion Status Previously in the childhood section, 3 RV was being calculated as complete when 4 DTaP was complete. This bug has been resolved.
