The U.S. National Diabetes Surveillance System provides resources documenting the public health burden of diabetes and its complications at the national, state, and county level.

An online interactive tool that provides instant access to state-level, disability-specific health data. Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS) data are analyzed among adults with and without disabilities for approximately 70 demographic and health indicators, and the data are available by indicator and by state. Users can customize the disability and health data they view, making it easy to identify health disparities between adults with and without disabilities.

Environmental public health tracking is the ongoing collection, integration, analysis, and interpretation of data about environmental hazards, exposure to environmental hazards, and health effects potentially related to exposure to environmental hazards.

Theme pages provide data and analyses on global health priorities. Each theme page provides information on global situation and trends highlights, using core indicators, database views, major publications and links to relevant web pages on the theme.

GTSSData houses and displays data from four tobacco-related surveys conducted around the world.

World’s largest, on-going telephone health survey system, tracking health conditions and risk behaviors in the United States yearly since 1984. Currently, data are collected monthly in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Guam.

Youth Online allows analysis of national, state, and local Youth Risk Behavior Surveillance System (YRBSS) data from 1991-2009. Data from high school and middle school surveys are included. Filter and sort on the basis of race/ethnicity, sex, grade, or site, create customized tables and graphs, and perform statistical tests by site and health topic.

The NCHHSTP Atlas provides an interactive platform for accessing HIV/AIDS, viral hepatitis, sexually transmitted disease (STD), and tuberculosis (TB) data. Currently, the atlas provides interactive maps, graphics, and tables showing geographic patterns and time trends of HIV, AIDS, chlamydia, gonorrhea, primary and secondary syphilis, early latent syphilis, tuberculosis, and acute viral hepatitis A, B, and C surveillance data. HIV and STD data are available at the county level; all data are available at the state and national levels.

The number of cases and disease incidence rates are reported by year, type of STD, and area of report and are further aggregated by gender or gender, age group, and race/ethnicity.

As part of its national influenza surveillance effort, CDC receives weekly mortality reports from 122 cities and metropolitan areas in the United States within 2-3 weeks from the date of death. These reports summarize the total number of deaths occurring in these cities/areas each week, as well as the number attributed to pneumonia and influenza. Data are published weekly in Table IV of the Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report (MMWR).

Data for selected nationally notifiable diseases reported by the 50 states, New York City, the District of Columbia, and the U.S. territories are collated and published weekly in the Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report (MMWR).

The FluSurv-NET conducts surveillance for population-based, lab-confirmed influenza related hospitalizations in children (< 18 years) and adults. It covers over 80 counties in the 10 Emerging Infections Program (EIP) states and additional Influenza Hospitalization Surveillance Project (IHSP) states.

WoRLD presents up-to-date summary tables, graphs, and figures of occupationally-related respiratory disease surveillance data; available for downloading in four file formats (html, gif, pdf, and csv).

NIOSH studies the causes and consequences of coal-related respiratory disease and carries out a program for early detection/prevention of coal workers’ pneumoconiosis. (Coal Workers’ X-ray Surveillance Program, National Coal Workers’ Autopsy Program, and NIOSH B Reader Certification Program

Patient information is collected from each NEISS-Work hospital for every emergency visit with an injury or illness associated with work for pay or other compensation, agricultural production, and volunteer work for an organized group. 

NOMSS output will result in the production/dissemination of sector-based mortality trend data specific for industry and occupation. Data will inform the 8 NORA sectors and researchers of high disease mortality, high risk occupations, and information gaps to set priorities.

SENSOR builds and maintains occupational illness and injury surveillance capacity within state health departments. NIOSH provides cooperative agreement funding and technical support to states to conduct surveillance on one or more occupational illnesses or injuries.

NOHSS monitors the burden of oral disease, use of oral health care delivery system, and status of community water fluoridation on both a national and state level. It is designed to track oral health surveillance indicators based on data sources and surveillance capacity available to most states.

This data set has counts of resident population by state, county, age range, gender, and race. Census years are 1970, 1980, 1990 and 2000. Data for non-census years are projected.

This database contains population projections by race, gender, and age for all fifty states and the District of Columbia for the years 2004 to 2030.
