Amy Jewett, MPH, is an epidemiologist with the Transportation Safety Team, Division of Unintentional Injury Prevention. She works to prevent motor vehicle-related injuries and deaths. Her research interests include drugged driving, teen driving and bicycle safety.
Ms. Jewett joined CDC’s NCIPC in 2014 and has been working as an epidemiologist on transportation safety. Prior to 2014, she worked for two years in the Division of Global Migration and Quarantine with a specific focus on MERS-CoV Emergency Response and in the Division of Viral Hepatitis as an ORISE Fellow.
Ms. Jewett earned a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from Georgia State University.
