வில்லியம் ஆல்பிரெட் பவுலர்

பவுலர் பென்சில்வேனியாவில் உள்ள பிட்சுபர்கில் பிறந்தார். இவரது இரண்டாம் அகவையில் குடும்பத்தோடு ஓகியாவில் உள்ள இலிமாவுக்குச் சென்றார். இது ஒரு நீராவித் தொடர்வண்டி நகரம் ஆகும்.இவர் ஓகியோ பல்கலைக்கழகத்தில் பட்டம் பெற்றார். அப்போது இவர் டௌ கப்பா எப்சிலான் அமைப்பில் உறுப்பினராக இருந்தார். இவர் கலிபோர்னியா தொழில்நுட்ப நிறுவனத்தில் அணுக்கரு இயற்பியலில் முனைவர் பட்டம் பெற்றார்.

இவர் நீராவிப் பொறி இயங்கிகளில் தொடர்ந்து ஆர்வம் கொண்டிருந்தார். பல நீராவிப் பொறி இயங்கிகளை பல அளவுகளில் தன்னிடம் வைத்திருந்தார். அவற்றில் ஒன்று இங்கே காட்டப்பட்டுள்ளது.[1] இவர் கலிபோர்னியாவில் உள்ள பசதேனாவில் இறந்தார்.
