பிரெட் ஆயில்

சர் பிரெட் ஃஆயில் (Sir Fred Hoyle) அகஉ(FRS) (24 ஜூன் 1915 - 20 ஆகத்து 2001)[1] ஓர் ஆங்கிலேய வானியலாளர் ஆவார். இவர் விண்மீன் அணுக்கருத் த்குப்பு வினைக்கும் பெருவெடிப்புக் கோட்பாட்டைப் புறந்தள்ளியதற்கும் பெயர்பெற்றவர். பெருவெடிப்பு எனும் சொல்லை இவர்தான் பிரித்தானிய ஒலிபரப்பில் உருவாக்கினார். புவியக உயிரினத் தோற்றத்துக்குக் காரணம் பேன்சுபெர்மியா தான் எனக் கூறியவர். இவர் மக்களிடையே அறிவியலைப் பரவலாகக் கொண்டு சென்றவர் என்றாலும், பல்வேறு அறிவியல் சிக்கல்களில் பெருவாரியான அறிவியலாளர்களை எதிர்த்தார்.[2][3][4] இவர் தன் வாழ்நாள் முழுவதும் கேம்பிரிட்ஜ் வானியல் நிறுவனத்திலேயே கழித்தார். இவர் ஆறு ஆண்டுகள் அதன் இயக்குநராகவும் இருந்தார். இவர் அரிவியல் புனைவு எழுத்தாளர் ஆவார். இவர் தன் மகனாகிய ஜியோஃப்ரி ஃஆயிலுடன் இணைந்து பன்னிரண்டு நூல்களை எழுதியுள்ளார்.
