குறுவால் மரநாய்
குறுவால் மரநாய் (Mustela erminea) என்பது ஒரு வகை மரநாய் ஆகும். இது மரநாயைவிடப் பெரியது. இதன் வால் நுனி கருப்பாக உள்ளது. இது யூரேசியா மற்றும் வட அமெரிக்காவில் காணப்படுகிறது. இவை யூரேசியாவில் இருந்து 5 இலட்சம் வருடங்களுக்கு முன் வட அமெரிக்காவிற்குப் பரவின.[2] அங்கு நீளவால் மரநாயுடன் வாழத்தொடங்கியன.
