টমাস হ্যারিয়ট (ইংরেজি: Thomas Harriot বা Harriott বা Hariot বা Heriot) (অক্সফোর্ড, আনু. ১৫৬০ – লন্ডন, ২ জুলাই, ১৬২১) — ছিলেন একজন ইংরেজ জ্যোতির্বিদ, গণিতবিদ, নৃতত্ত্ববিদ এবং অনুবাদক। গ্যালিলিওর আগে তিনি টেলিস্কোপ বা দূরবীক্ষণ যন্ত্রের সাহায্যে মহাকাশ পর্যবেক্ষণের কাজে হাত দেন।[1]

১৫৮০ সালে অক্সফোর্ড থেকে স্নাতক ডিগ্রী অর্জন করার পর, হ্যারিয়ট প্রথম গণিত গৃহশিক্ষক হিসেবে স্যার ওয়াল্টার রালে তাকে নিয়োগ দেন। তিনি তখন জ্যোতির্বিজ্ঞান / জ্যোতিষশাস্ত্রে ন্যাভিগেশানাল দক্ষতা প্রদান করে তার জ্ঞান ব্যবহার করছেন। রালের জাহাজ ডিজাইন সাহায্য করছেন এবং তার একাউন্টেন্ট হিসেবে নিয়জিত ছিলেন রালের সঙ্গে তার অভিযানের আগে, হ্যারিয়ট নেভিগেশন বিষয়ে একটি গ্রন্থ লিখেছিলেন।[2]
