জায়নবাদ

জায়নবাদ (হিব্রু ভাষায়: צִיּוֹנוּת‎, translit. Tsiyonut) হল ইহুদিদের একটি জাতীয়তাবাদী আন্দোলন। এই আন্দোলন ইসরায়েল ভূমি বলে পরিচিত অঞ্চলে একটি ইহুদি আবাসভূমি গড়ে তোলাকে সমর্থন করে। ইহুদিদের ইহুদি পরিচয় ধরে রাখা, অন্য সমাজে মিশে যাওয়ার বিরোধিতা ইত্যাদি জায়নবাদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত। উনিশ শতকের শেষের দিকে মধ্য ও পূর্ব ইউরোপে জাতীয় পুনরজাগরণ আন্দোলন হিসেবে জায়নবাদের উত্থান ঘটে এবং শীঘ্রই এর অধিকাং নেতা তাদের প্রধান লক্ষ ফিলিস্তিনে তাদের কাঙ্খিত রাষ্ট্রের ব্যাপারে মনোনিবেশ করেন। এসময় উসমানীয় সাম্রাজ্য ফিলিস্তিন শাসন করত।[1][2][3] ইসরায়েল প্রতিষ্ঠার পর থেকে জায়নবাদি আন্দোলন ইহুদি রাষ্ট্রের পক্ষে কথা বলতে থাকে। কিছু কিছু ক্ষেত্রে আহাদ হাম কর্তৃক প্রতিষ্ঠিত অরাজনৈতিক সাংস্কৃতিক জায়নবাদকে জায়নবাদ বলে চিহ্নিত করা হয়। খ্রিষ্টান জায়নবাদি বলে পরিচিত একটি পদ রয়েছে যা দ্বারা ইসরায়েল রাষ্ট্রের পক্ষে থাকা অইহুদি ব্যক্তিদের বোঝায়।

থিওডোর হের্জলকে জায়নবাদি আন্দোলনের প্রতিষ্ঠাতা বলে গণ্য করা হয়। তার লেখা ডের জুডেন্সটাটে তিনি ভবিষ্যত ইহুদি রাষ্ট্রের কথা বলেন।

জায়নবাদের পক্ষাবলম্বনকারীরা একে একটি সামাজিক ও ধর্মীয় গোষ্ঠীর হাজার বছর পূর্বে ত্যাগ করা স্থানে প্রত্যাবর্তন হিসেবে অবিহিত করে।[4][5][6] জায়নবাদের সমালোচকদের মতে এটি উপনিবেশবাদি[7] ও বর্ণবাদি[8] মতবাদ যা ফিলিস্তিনের স্থানীয় আদিবাসীদের অধিকার হরণ ও তাদের বহিষ্কার সমর্থন করে।[9][10][11][12]
