অ্যাসিড রক হল এক প্রকার সাইকেডেলিক রক সঙ্গীত[1] , যা দীর্ঘ একক বাজনা, সামান্য লিরিক এবং গানে আখর বসিয়ে পরিবেশন করা হয়। একে সাইকেডেলিক রক ব্যান্ডের সান ফ্রান্সিসকো সাউন্ড দ্বারা প্রভাবিত সঙ্গীতগুলিকেও নির্দেশ করা হয়। এগুলি উচ্চৈঃস্বরে দীর্ঘ সময়ের বাদ্য সহকারে বাজানো হয়ে থাকে।
