	David J. Ederer, MPHDavid J. Ederer, MPH

Researcher, McNeal Professional Services, Division of Unintentional Injury Prevention, National Center for Injury Prevention and Control, CDC

David Ederer is a researcher in the Division of Unintentional Injury Prevention in the National Center for Injury Prevention and Control at CDC. He is a member of the Transportation Safety Team, whose focus areas include seat belt use, child passenger safety, safe teen driving, alcohol-impaired driving, tribal motor vehicle injury prevention, and older adult mobility.

David received a master’s degree in public health from the University of Michigan in 2013. He also holds degrees in biology and philosophy from Villanova University. Prior to joining CDC, David was a Fulbright Fellow in South Korea, where he taught English and ran a school-based wellness program.

	Mark Kinde, MPHMark Kinde, MPH

Director, Injury and Violence Prevention Unit, Minnesota Department of Health

Since 1984, Mark Kinde has served the departments of health in North Dakota and Minnesota in areas such as injury and violence epidemiology, surveillance, program development, implementation, and evaluation. In both states, Mark helped develop statewide traumatic brain and spinal cord injury registries and surveillance systems for both violence and unintentional injury.

In his current position, with the Minnesota Department of Health, Mark supports state and national efforts to improve data quality, share evaluation results with states and communities, build capacity and passion for injury and violence prevention and control on the state and local levels, and translate data into programs and policies that reduce risk of injury and violence in communities across the nation.

	Jenny Johnson, MPH, CHESJenny Johnson, MPH, CHES

Unintentional Injury Coordinator and Public Information Officer, Violence and Injury Prevention Program, Utah Department of Health

Jenny Johnson is the unintentional injury prevention coordinator and public information officer for the Violence and Injury Prevention Program at the Utah Department of Health. She has worked for there for the last 11 years in a variety of areas, including chronic disease genomics, asthma, and injury and violence prevention.

Jenny received a master’s of public health degree from the University of Utah in 2009 and is a Certified Health Education Specialist. She has served on state and national coalitions and workgroups, presented at local, state, and national conferences, and received several awards for storytelling and communications projects.
