NOIRS 2015 Location
The National Occupational Injury Research Symposium (NOIRS) 2015 was held on May 19, 20, & 21, 2015 in Kingwood, West Virginia at the Camp Dawson Training Center. Nestled in the hills of North Central West Virginia, Camp Dawson lies within close proximity of 50% of the nation’s population, and offered a unique and serene setting for our meeting.
Meeting Facilities (Robert C. Byrd Conference Center)
Dining/Recreation
Camp Dawson has a dining facility, a restaurant (Liberty Restaurant), and a lounge (Liberty Lounge). Breakfast, lunch and dinner were available at the dining hall and restaurant; light foods sandwiches, beer and wine were available at the lounge. A Post Exchange where you purchase sundries and souvenirs was also available.
Recreational facilities onsite included an Olympic-size pool, an outdoor volleyball area, a fitness center, and paddle boats, canoes and bicycles (for rent).
