Opening Plenary
The theme for the Opening Plenary focused on “Future Directions in Occupational Injury Prevention Research”. Presentations discussed the changing demographics of the US workforce, trends in employment as well as trends in fatal and nonfatal work-related injuries. Leaders in the field of occupational injury prevention provided perspectives on future directions for occupational injury prevention research in the United States and Canada.
