Steve Spata
Steve Spata, Technical Services Manager with the National Truck Equipment Association (NTEA), has served as an engineer in the automotive industry for eighteen years. Since 1994, he has worked with industry and government to further the safety and quality of commercial vehicles. Mr. Spata also manages several industry groups of specialized vehicle manufacturers within the Association such as the Ambulance Manufacturers Division (AMD), Mid-Size Bus Manufacturers Association (MSBMA) and the Articulating Crane Council of North America (ACCNA). Through his Association work, he has authored many articles and developed tools and publications to assist the NTEA’s membership with their responsibilities related to the vehicles and equipment they produce and the regulations promulgated by the NHTSA, FMCSA, OSHA and other Federal agencies.
