Corinne Peek-Asa
Dr. Corinne Peek-Asa, Professor of Occupational and Environmental Health, Director of the University of Iowa Injury Prevention Research Center and Director of the International Collaborative Trauma and Injury Training Program in Central Europe. Dr. Peek-Asa is an epidemiologist who specializes in the evaluation of injury prevention programs. She has funded studies evaluating prevention strategies in the areas of teen driving safety, workplace violence, residential fire injuries, domestic violence and sexual violence. Dr. Peek-Asa serves on the Internal Review Group of the National Center for Injury Prevention and Control, serves on the Board of Directors for the Society for the Advancement of Violence and Injury Research and co-chairs the Steering Committee for the National Prevent Violence Training Initiative.
