Skin cancer is the most common form of cancer in the U.S., and melanoma is the most deadly form. It affects everyone regardless of skin color and can spread to other parts of the body. According to CDC’s new Vital Signs report, community programs could help to prevent an estimated 21,000 new melanoma cases each year.
