Serena Vinter, MHS

	Serena Vinter
Serena Vinter is the Associate Director for Policy (ADP) for the Center for Global Health (CGH)  at the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Prior to accepting this new role, Ms. Vinter served as a Senior Policy Analyst with the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases (NCIRD).  In this role, she was responsible for developing and implementing a strategic partnerships plan, supporting executive and legislative relations, and serving as the policy lead during outbreak responses. 

Previously, Ms. Vinter worked in the Office of Public Health Preparedness and Response (OPHPR), where she served in a number of key positions in the Office of Policy, Planning and Evaluation, including Partnerships Team Lead, Deputy Associate Director, and acting Associate Director for Policy.

Prior to joining CDC in 2010, Ms. Vinter was a Senior Research Associate with Trust for America’s Health, where she was responsible for leading the development of policy and communications products for public health preparedness and response, infectious diseases, and public health funding. 

Ms. Vinter has a Master of Health Sciences from The Johns Hopkins University, Bloomberg School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Davidson College.‎
