The following is an important public health announcement about safe drinking water. Normal sources of water may be unsafe following the earthquake, even if the water looks clear. Use bottled water if the cap is sealed, boiled water, or treated water with 5 drops of household bleach to 1 liter of water for drinking, making food, washing dishes, brushing your teeth, and washing your hands. Only drink bottled water if the cap is sealed. Bottles with broken seals may contain unsafe water. Look if the cap of the bottled water is sealed. If the cap is not sealed, do not drink it. These tips can save lives…Be safe.
