The Comprehensive Cancer Control National Partnership

The Comprehensive Cancer Control National Partnership (CCCNP) is a group of 18 national organizations including CDC whose purpose is to support comprehensive cancer control (CCC) coalitions in the states, tribes, territories, and U.S. Pacific Island Jurisdictions.

Activities

The CCCNP is actively working on two strategic goals:

• Facilitate and provide support to CCC coalitions, and
• Coordinate national CCC efforts.

In addition, the CCCNP has prioritized the following focus areas:

• Increase human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination uptake.
• Increase colorectal cancer screening to 80% by 2018.
• Increase availability of tobacco cessation services for cancer survivors.

The CCCNP—

• Sponsors multiple training series for cancer control coalitions that offer opportunities to learn, share, and expand CCC efforts.
• Provides a number of technical assistance visits to cancer coalitions across the country.
• Maintains Cancer Control P.L.A.N.E.T., a Web site that provides tools for CCC planners, including state cancer profiles and links to all CCC plans.
• Organizes and shares invaluable resources developed by its various member organizations.
