Act Against AIDS has had the strong voices of key spokespersons to carry HIV prevention messages to communities across the nation. Celebrities, like Jamie Foxx, Angela Bassett, Laila Ali, Raheem DeVaughn, Sheryl Lee Ralph, and astronaut Jose Hernandez have recorded public service announcements, hosted events and concerts, promoted AAA and HIV prevention through their social media channels, and made appearances in support of the initiative. CDC also currently coordinates with highly influential entities such as: Black Entertainment Television, Bronner Bros Enterprises, GLAAD, Grinder, The National Minority AIDS Council (NMAC), The Red Pump Project and many others to conduct HIV prevention outreach activities at the local and national level.

Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation (ETAF)

Elizabeth Taylor established (ETAF) in 1991 to support organizations delivering direct care and services to people living with HIV and AIDS, often to the most marginalized populations. Today, ETAF also provides funding for HIV prevention education and advocacy programs throughout the world.

Latino Commission on AIDS

The Latino Commission on AIDS is a nonprofit membership organization dedicated to fighting the spread of HIV/AIDS in the Latino community. Through its network of member organizations and community leaders, the Commission works to mobilize the Latino community response to the health crisis created by HIV/AIDS.
