வேர்மாக்ட்

வேர்மாக்ட் (Wehrmacht; டாய்ச்சு ஒலிப்பு: [ˈveːɐ̯maxt]  ( கேட்க), பொருள்: "பாதுகாப்புப்படை")[N 2] என்பது 1935 முதல் 1946 வரையான காலப்பகுதியில் இயங்கிய நாட்சி ஜெர்மனியின் ஒன்றிணைந்த ஆயுதப்படையாகும். இது கியர் (தரைப்படை), கிரிக்ஸ்மரினா (கடற்படை), லூப்டுவாபே (வான்படை) ஆகியவற்றை உள்ளடக்கியிருந்தது.[3] முன்பு இருந்த ரெய்க்ஸ்வியர் (1919–1935) என்பதற்குப் பதிலாக நாட்சி ஜெர்மனியால் வேர்மாக்ட் அமைக்கப்பட்டு, வெர்சாய் ஒப்பந்தம் அனுமதித்ததற்கு மேலாகப் பாரிய விரிவாக்களைச் செய்வதற்காக நாட்டை மீளவும் ஆயுத மயப்படுத்த மூன்றாம் றைஃக்கின் முயற்சியினால் இது அமைக்கப்பட்டது.[4]
