ஆள்காட்டி விரல்

ஆள்காட்டி விரல் என்பது கைகளின் பெருவிரலுக்கு அடுத்த விரல் ஆகும் . இவ்விரல் ஒரு பொருள் அல்லது ஒரு மனிதனையோ சுட்டிகாட்ட உதவும் ஆகையால் இதனை ஆட்காட்டி விரல் அல்லது சுட்டுவிரல் என்று பொதுவாக தமிழில் அழைப்பர். இக்கட்டைவிரல் ஆனது கையின் இரண்டாவது விரல் ஆகும்.
