அங்கரிசர்

ஆங்கிரீசர் வேத கால மகரிஷிகளுள் ஒருவர்.[1][2] இவர் அதர்வண மகரிஷியுடன் இணைந்து அதர்வண வேதத்தை உருவாக்கியதாக கூறப்படுகிறது. மற்ற வேதங்களிலும் இவரைப் பற்றிய குறிப்புக்கள் இடம்பெற்று உள்ளன. இவரது மனைவியின் பெயர் சுருபா . இவர்களுக்கு கண்வர், உதத்யா, சம்வர்தனா, பிரகஸ்பதி என்று நான்கு மகன்கள் இருந்தனர். பிரம்மாவின் மானசீகப் புத்திரரென்று கூறப்படும் இவர் பரம்பரையில் பல ரிஷிகளும், மன்னர்களும் தோன்றியதாகக் கூறப்படுகிறது.[3] புத்தர் இவர் வழி வந்தவர் என்ற குறிப்புகளும் உண்டு.
