സലമാണ്ടർ
ഉരഗങ്ങളോട് രൂപ സാദൃശ്യം ഉള്ള ഒരു കൂട്ടം ഉഭയജീവികളാണ് സലമാണ്ടരുകൾ. 655 ൽ പരം സ്പീഷീസുകൾ ഉണ്ട് ഇവയിൽ. ചില സ്പീഷീസുകൾ ജീവിതചക്രത്തിന്റെ മുഴുവൻ ഭാഗവും ജലത്തിൽ ആണ് കഴിയുന്നത്‌ . എന്നാൽ മറ്റു ചിലവ ഇടയ്ക്കിടെ ജലാശയങ്ങളിൽ വന്ന് പോകുന്നവ ആണ്. എന്നാൽ പ്രായപൂർത്തി ആയ ശേഷം കരയിൽ മാത്രം ജീവിക്കുന്ന സലമാണ്ടരുകളും ഉണ്ട്.
