വെള്ളവരയൻആര

കാടുകളിൽക്കാണുന്ന ഒരു ചിത്രശലഭം. ഹെസ്പിരിഡെ ചിത്രശലഭകുടുംത്തിൽപ്പെടുന്നു.[2][3][4][5] പിൻചിറകിലുള്ള വെള്ളനിറത്തിലുള്ള വലിയ പട്ട ഈ ശലഭത്തെ തിരിച്ചറിയാൻ സഹായിക്കുന്നു[6][7] .കാട്ടരുവിയോരങ്ങളിലെ നനവാർന്ന പ്രദേശങ്ങൾ ഇഷ്ടപ്പെടുന്നു. പൊന്നാംവള്ളി(Derris scandens), ഉങ്ങ്(Pongamia pinnata) എന്നിവയിലാണ് മുട്ടകൾ സാധാരണകാണുന്നത്.
