മെഗാടൈപ്പസ്‌

മെഗാനിസൊപ്റ്റെറ എന്ന നിരയിൽ ഉൾപ്പെട്ട മെഗാന്യൂറിഡെ കുടുംബത്തിലെ വംശനാശം സംഭവിച്ച വലിയ ഒരു പ്രാണി ജനുസ്സാണ് മെഗാടൈപ്പസ്‌' (Megatypus). ഈ ജനുസിലെ പല തുമ്പികളുടെയും ചിറകുകൾക്ക് 70 cm (28 in) വരെ വലിപ്പമുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.[1]
