പാകിസ്താനിലെ ഒരു പ്രധാന നഗരമാണ് പെഷവാർ.പാകിസ്താനിലെ നാലു പ്രവിശ്യകളിൽ ഒന്നായ ഖൈബർ പഖ്തുൻക്വയുടെ തലസ്ഥാനവുമാണ്.പാക്-അഫ്ഗാൻ അതിർത്തിയോട് ചേർന്നാണ് പെഷവാറിന്റെ സ്ഥാനം എന്നതുകൊണ്ട് തന്നെ വാണിജ്യപരമായും സൈനികപരമായും പ്രാധാന്യമുണ്ട്.
