കൊറഗഭാഷ

കൊറഗഭാഷ കേരളത്തിലെ വടക്കേ അറ്റത്തെ ജില്ലയായ കാസർഗോഡും കർണ്ണാടക സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ തെക്കൻ ജില്ലയായ ദക്ഷിണ കന്നഡയിലും താമസിക്കുന്ന കൊറഗ എന്ന ആദിവാസി ജനത സംസാരിക്കുന്ന ദ്രാവിഡ ഭാഷയാണ്. കേരളത്തിലെ കൊറഗർ മുദുകൊറഗ സംസാരിക്കുന്ന ഈ ഭാഷയുടെ ഭാഷാഭേദം കർണ്ണാടകത്തിൽ താമസിക്കുന്ന കൊർഅ കൊറഗരുടെ ഭാഷയുമായി വളരെ അന്തരമുണ്ട്. ഇവ തമ്മിൽ കേട്ടാൽ മനസ്സിലാക്കാൻ പ്രയാസമാണ്.[3]

കൊറഗഭാഷ, ദ്രാവിഡ ഭാഷാഗോത്രത്തില്പെടുന്ന ഒരു ഭാഷയാണ്.[4][5] തെക്കൻ ദ്രാവിഡഭാഷ എന്നു ഈ ഭാഷയെ ഉപവിഭാഗമായി വീണ്ടും തരം തിരിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.

കൊറഗ ഒരു വായ്മൊഴി ഭാഷയാണ്. ഇത് എഴുതുവാൻ പ്രത്യേക ലിപിയില്ല. എഴുതേണ്ട ആവശ്യം വരുമ്പോൾ, കന്നഡ ലിപി ഉപയോഗിച്ചുവരുന്നു. കൊറഗ വിഭാഗത്തിൽപ്പെട്ട ആദിവാസികൾ പൊതുവേ തുളു ഭാഷയിലും കന്നഡ ഭാഷയിലും പ്രാവീണ്യമുള്ളവരായതിനാൽ, സാഹിത്യപരമായ ആവശ്യങ്ങൾക്കായി അവർ ഈ ഭാഷകളെ ഉപയോഗിച്ചുവരുന്നു. [6]
